Earth Hour is more than one hour without lights. We have prepared a number of activities before our lights-off event and on the event day to draw your attention to our environment and pick up a sustainable style of living!

Earth Hour Village is back! Join us on March 25!

From 11:45 to 20:45, our much-loved Earth Hour Village will host activities in the West Kowloon Cultural District, including workshops, a green market, education booths, and much more. Join us to discover the many types relationships between people and nature by getting hands on with a sustainable lifestyle.

Education Booths

  • The Mystery Guests in Mai Po
    • Introduction of Eurasian Otter – facts about them and the threat they face
    • Conservation works done by citizen scientists and our Mai Po Research team

  • Save Our Own Wetland
    • Daily routine of our Mai Po field workers
    • A showcase of gears and tools used by Mai Po field workers in their daily work
    • Photo Corner - Participants are welcome to dress as field workers in Mai Po and take photos

  • Be a Mai Po Conservationist
    • Introduction of wetland management
    • A showcase of WWF’s wetland management works in Mai Po
    • Your turn to try: water bird survey

  • The Adventures of Little Otter
    • Join Lutra’s adventures and experience the threats that Lutra has been facing
    • Interactive games that showcase the consequences caused by habitat loss

  • Lolo’s Flying Journey
    • Play the role as a black-faced spoonbill and experience a thrilling and exciting migration journey!
