Earth Hour is a symbolic event that demonstrates our joint commitment to the planet. By partnering with community groups, we can amplify our impact on the environment. This year, we remain committed to fostering Earth Hour as a grassroots movement, inspiring action to protect habitats and combating the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
This year, get creative and let us know what sustainability actions your community group or school are taking – before, during or after Earth Hour. Your work will create ripple effects that influence more people and help us promote a sustainable lifestyle across society!
In addition to turning off the lights on 23 March, there is so much more you can do to go beyond the hour! Download the PDF Checklist for what your group or school can do to protect nature. You are also encouraged to sign the Earth Hour pledge and tell us how you are supporting Earth Hour and going beyond for a sustainable lifestyle, and receive an e-certificate of recognition on or before 30 April.
We are looking forward to working with organisations across Hong Kong to drive impacts, build awareness and encourage everyone to adopt sustainable living habits!
