About Earth Hour 2024

Earth Hour 2024 will be held at 8:30pm on Saturday, 23 March 2024. WWF-Hong Kong calls on everyone to support us by switching off non-essential lights and changing the way we live. This year, we will be shining an unmissable spotlight on the twin interlinked global crises – climate change and loss of nature – reminding everyone of how little time we have left to save our planet.

WWF-Hong Kong invites you to join our Earth Hour Carnival, held on 23 March at Art Park, the West Kowloon Cultural District. Enjoy fun and educational activities all afternoon, before joining us to witness the famous lights-off ceremony at 8:30pm. Follow our Instagram and Facebook accounts for the latest event updates, and sign our pledge to show your support!

While this is the Earth’s “biggest hour”, we hope to turn this single Earth Hour into thousands and millions of hours of action and awareness. This year’s theme is “Give an Hour for Earth”, and we encourage everyone to start simply in our daily lives – changing the way we look at food, fitness and wellness, outdoor activities, creativity, entertainment, and sustainability, so we can reconnect with nature and help our planet. Join us and make positive changes for the future!
